Afro Caribbean | Dancing Stories
In this 90 min workshop we honor the legacy and cultures these dances are rooted in, while exploring the embodiment applied to the lived experiences of today. Nuance, polyrhythm, call-and-response, and expression will all take center stage here. Rotating live musicians, DJ, and audio soundscape. All levels. All ages. As a current student says, “This isn’t a dance class, this is an experience.”
